Colorful Invitations & Destination Plans

From the moment guests received their blue and green floral invitations from Minted Weddings, it was clear this wedding would be one to remember. To make the destination experience seamless, Madi and Liam provided guests with both their personal wedding website and The Trillium’s exclusive Guest Hub – a custom webpage filled with helpful details. Designed with out-of-town guests in mind, the Guest Hub includes everything from local attractions and accommodation suggestions to FAQs and wedding day logistics. It’s the perfect resource to pair with Save the Dates or your wedding website, offering peace of mind for guests and hosts alike.

Bridal Suite Moments

Madi began her day in The Trillium’s showstopping Bridal Suite, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the joyful pop of champagne on the private patio. She wore a stunning lace Jenny Yoo gown from A & Bé Raleigh. Delicate pearl earrings and beaded Betsy Johnson sneakers—perfect for dancing later—completed her look. Her vibrant bouquet by Vintage Floral Designs featured summer blooms in every color of the rainbow.

The couple kicked off the weekend with a welcome party in Sevierville, Tennessee and wrapped things up with a group trip to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge on Sunday! The Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas offer endless opportunities for couples and families to turn a wedding into a full vacation. Whether it’s a weekend event or a popular weekday wedding, there are so many things to do and see in the area. Madi and Liam embraced the festive spirit, encouraging guests to dress “colorful, chic, and in cocktail attire!” as noted on their wedding website. The result? A vibrant and stylish crowd ready to celebrate in true Smoky Mountain fashion.

Groom’s Lounge Style

Meanwhile, Liam and his groomsmen got ready in The Trillium’s dapper Groom’s Lounge – complete with rolling glass doors and mountain views. Liam embraced a summer-friendly look with a light grey linen suit from Woods Menswear, paired with bold floral bowties, a colorful pocket square, and cowboy boots. It was a particularly perfect blend of Southern charm and mountain wedding style.

A Private First Look

Madi and Liam’s first look on the covered veranda was captured beautifully by Linkes Photography. It was a heartfelt and emotional moment just for the two of them before the main event. Many couples are choosing to incorporate a first look into their wedding timeline – not only to calm nerves but to share an intimate moment together away from the crowd. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to capture genuine reactions and meaningful portraits in a relaxed setting.

After soaking in the moment, Madi and Liam moved to the terrace for portraits surrounded by mountain views. With the Smokies as their backdrop and the joyful anticipation of the ceremony ahead, these photos are sure to be some of their most cherished.

Smoky Mountain Ceremony with a View

Elite Event Services made arrival especially easy for all guests with full-service shuttle transportation. As guests arrived, they stepped through the breezeway. A friendly faux grizzly bear collected cards, and a playful photo guest book station invited them to leave memories. The open-air patio offered an absolutely breathtaking backdrop of the Smoky Mountains. Furthermore, a bright, whimsical floral installation framed the couple as they exchanged vows under sunny blue skies.

Wedding Reception in the Grand Hall

Guests were soon welcomed into the Grand Hall with a clever seating chart called “The Keys to The Party.” Each guest received a cowboy hat-themed keyring with their name and table number. The colorful summer theme continued throughout the reception space. Here there were blush linens, wood chargers, green napkins, vintage floral china, and multicolored crystal glassware. Tables were adorned with lush centerpieces and bud vases filled with seasonal blooms accenting this Smoky Mountain Destination wedding venue.

Next, Madi and Liam were introduced to a standing ovation. They then took their seats at a sweetheart table framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and those iconic Trillium mountain views. Dinner was served by Dead End BBQ, followed by a festive cake cutting. The couple’s white Publix cake was topped with vibrant flowers and surrounded by a playful cookie tower for dessert. A fan favorite indeed!

Dancing Under the Stars

As the sun set behind the mountains, guests made their way to the Open Air Patio. Stephen Goff Entertainment kept the celebration alive under a sky full of stars. The dance floor pulsed with energy throughout the night! From emotional first dances to lively rounds of limbo, joyful laughter lasted well into the evening.

Madi and Liam’s celebration was filled with heart, color, and unforgettable memories. Without a doubt, it was truly a celebration to remember at one of the top Smoky Mountain destination wedding venues.
