We often host weddings on weekdays and weekends, so it’s likely The Trillium venue will be reserved for another wedding the day before your event. For this reason, our couples should plan for an offsite rehearsal. Our sister venue, The River Place, just minutes away in Sevierville, TN is a great option for a quick mock ceremony walk through and rehearsal dinner. Take it from our professional wedding planners - the most important part of a rehearsal is gathering everyone to talk day-of-schedule and details which can happen in any space. Of course, you are welcome to bring anyone who would feel more comfortable seeing the venue (such as your DJ, officiant, flower girl, ring bearer, etc.) to one of our Booked Couples Open Houses.
We understand and appreciate that animals are extensions of our families! We are happy to welcome your pet, but ask that you abide by some very specific, contractual policies . Pre-approval by The Trillium is required. Dogs are only allowed on the property for the ceremony and for pictures, then they must be taken off the property. With the exception of service animals, pets must remain outdoors, be with a designated caretaker and be on a leash at all times. We can provide recommendations for dog sitting services that will take great care of your furry friend.
Absolutely! In fact, The Trillium wedding venue boasts two incredible outdoor locations for couples to choose from. The open air patio offers uninterrupted, panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains as a wedding ceremony backdrop and tends to be the most popular choice amongst couples. This option still gives you the sought-after mountain views and open-air feel, while also providing protection from the elements under the soaring vaulted ceiling and exposed wood beams. Your chances of having the outdoor mountaintop wedding of your dreams just became a reality!
Of course! At The Trillium, we have a plan for all weather conditions and all seasons! If the weather is too extreme to utilize the covered patio space or if you are planning on a romantic winter wedding, there is plenty of room inside to hold your wedding ceremony. With an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows, your guests will still be able to take in the views of the Great Smoky Mountains from the comfort of the Great Indoors!
