On Saturday, August 8, 2024, Taylor and Nick Moll exchanged vows in a stunning summer mountain destination wedding at The Trillium Venue, nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Surrounded by breathtaking views and their closest loved ones, the couple’s special day was a perfect blend of natural elegance, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable celebrations.
Taylor and Nick’s wedding was a testament to their love for timeless beauty and meaningful details. With a design inspired by the lush hues of summer, Echelon Florist created a natural palette of white, ivory, and greenery that seamlessly complemented The Trillium’s scenic backdrop.
The couple’s sweetheart table featured upholstered chairs from The Trillium Venue Shop. And the guest tables were adorned with floor-length white linens, gold candlesticks, frosted acrylic table numbers, and bud vases filled with delicate florals. Each place setting included a handwritten thank-you note from the couple and a sprig of baby’s breath, adding a personal touch.
In the breezeway, photos chronicling Taylor and Nick’s love story, memories with their golden retrievers, and tributes to loved ones created an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Gold shelves and a seating chart, also from The Trillium Venue Shop, tied the space together beautifully.
The day began with Taylor and Nick getting ready for their much-anticipated first look. Taylor, a vision of elegance, wore a long satin gown. It was paired with a dramatic cathedral veil and pearl-accented sandals. Her bridesmaids complemented her look in taupe dresses with a hint of blush. Nick and his groomsmen opted for classic black suits, with Nick’s white tie standing out against the timeless ensemble.
Their first look moments, first with Taylor’s father and then with Nick, set the tone for a day full of love and connection. Captured beautifully by Kelsey Young Photography, these moments showcased the couple’s joy and excitement for their summer mountain destination wedding.
Taylor and Nick took advantage of The Trillium’s stunning photo locations:
As the clouds parted and sunlight spilled across the patio, Taylor and Nick exchanged heartfelt vows with the majestic Smoky Mountains as their backdrop. Laughter and happy tears filled the air, especially when their flower girl decided to make herself at home near the bridesmaids, delighting guests with her adorable antics.
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were treated to a seamless celebration that unfolded in stages, each more magical than the last.
Guests began the evening with a relaxed cocktail hour that set the tone for a joyous night. The couple’s furry family members, Poppy and Penny, inspired signature drinks that delighted everyone: the “Poppy Captain & Coke” and the “Penny Margarita.” Framed photos of the couple’s golden retrievers added a personal touch to the bar setup by Elite Event Services, creating a warm and inviting vibe.
The reception continued with a delectable dinner catered by Rothchild Catering, featuring a buffet of crowd-pleasing favorites. As the sun set, guests enjoyed their meal surrounded by elegantly dressed tables adorned with lush greenery, flickering candles, and heartfelt thank-you notes from Taylor and Nick.
Dessert was equally delightful. Josephine’s Sweets provided a charming dessert cart stocked with cookies and brownie bites, along with a traditional white cake that read “Just Married.” The dessert presentation perfectly complemented the evening’s elegant atmosphere.
Taylor and Nick shared their first dance as husband and wife under a canopy of string lights on The Trillium’s open-air patio.
As the night progressed, the ambiance was magical, with the twinkling lights of Pigeon Forge in the distance. Ogle Entertainment kept the dance floor packed with a mix of classics and crowd favorites. The energy was infectious, with guests of all ages celebrating, laughing, and dancing the night away. The stunning views, lively music, and spirited atmosphere made for a truly unforgettable end to a perfect day.
